Isabel Leonard makes another highly anticipated role debut this season, as Charlotte in Massenet’s tragic Werther. She takes the stage at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna for this first outing of the role, on December 15, 18, 21 & 23. Juan Diego Flórez and Celso Albelo alternate as Werther, with Jean-François Lapointe as Albert and Ruth Iniesta as Sophie. Michele Mariotti leads from the pit for the performances, which are certain to be a highlight of the theatre’s season. Please note ticket availability is extremely limited for all dates.

Ms. Leonard also sings Charlotte later this season at The Metropolitan Opera – February 16, 20 & 27 and March 4 & 9.
