Congrats to all of this year’s winners!
Isabel Leonard makes a believable Child . . . Her warm mezzo comes into its own at ‘Toi, le coeur de la rose’, where Ravel tips his hat to ‘Adieu, notre petite table’ in Massenet’s Manon.
Richard Lawrence – Gramophone
Isabel Leonard—a guarantee of quality whatever she sings—makes an irresistible child in L’Enfant.
