Isabel Leonard joins conductor Josep Caballé-Domenech and the Aspen Philharmonic Orchestra on August 9, for a concert featuring Berlioz’ Les nuits d’été. Ms. Leonard is the featured soloist for this lustrous set of six songs, with text by Théophile Gautier. The programme also highlights violinist Sarah Chang playing the Sibelius Violin Concerto in D. Minor, op. 47, Borodin’s Overture to Prince Igor, and Respighi’s Pines of Rome. On August 11 she will present a Master Class at Harris Concert Hall, and will work with singers from the Aspen Opera Theater Center.
