House debut singing La Cenerentola in Amsterdam
On December 3, 6, 10, 12, 16 and 18, Isabel Leonard makes her house debut at the Dutch National Opera in the title role of Rossini’s La Cenerentola. The colorful Laurent Pelly production, led by conductor Daniele Rustioni, also features Lawrence Brownlee, Roberto Tagliavini and Julietta Aleksanyan.
For her portrayal of Rossini’s Cinderella at the Washington National Opera, Broadway World stated “Leonard’s voice was made for Gioachino Rossini’s bel canto lines”.
