Isabel Leonard returns to The Metropolitan Opera for several engagements next season. She makes her greatly anticipated role debut as Charlotte in Massenet’s tragically beautiful Werther, with performances taking place February 16, 20 & 27 and March 4 & 9. Tenors Vittorio Grigolo and Jean-François Borras share the title role, with conductor Edward Gardner leading The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
Ms. Leonard also sings Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni April 26 & 29 and May 3, 6 & 11, with Plácido Domingo leading from the pit. Isabel joins a spectacular roster of colleagues for The Metropolitan Opera’s 50th Anniversary Gala Concert on May 7, with Maestro James Levine and The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Chorus.
